February 2025 - Paul Glenn

The Rochester Public Library is pleased to present the artwork of Paul Glenn during the month of February.

Paul writes: Paul is a self-taught artist with a passion for exploration and has been actively creating art for the past 50 years. Throughout Paul’s career, he has continuously honed his skills by attending focused classes on specific areas such as perspective, life drawing, composition, to open lectures at Carnegie Mellon Museum of Art Pittsburg Pa. A pivotal moment arrived in the early 1980's when Paul had the privilege of learning from the master painter, illustrator, and sculptor Thomas Palmerton of Brownville, Nebraska. Under Palmerton's guidance, Paul discovered the ease of acrylics, a medium he’s embraced ever since, leaving oils behind forever. Paul's dedication and artistic growth are evident in his work. This exhibition offers a glimpse into his artistic journey and the captivating world around him.
