December 2021 and January 2022 - Eisabella Janis

The Rochester Public Library is pleased to present the artwork of Eisabella Janis during the month of December.

Janis is a former student of Pratt Institute in NYC. They paint watercolor surrealist paintings inspired by the world around them. Imaginative compositions and portraits demonstrate skillful restraint and delicate application of color, while architectural landscapes highlight their eye for detail. A white-on-white figure painting, Janis’ newest work, leaves viewers excited to see what they will do next.
