October 2018 - Tri-City Consumers' Action Co-Operative
The Rochester Public Library is pleased to present an Arts & Crafts Show by the Tri-City Consumers’ Action Co-Operative (Tri-City Co-Op), a peer support agency that serves adult residents of Strafford County, during the month of October.
Positive Community Impact
Many members of Tri-City Co-Op have already benefited from their peer support services. Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) provides members with a wellness toolbox to promote daily maintenance; identify early and late warning signs; plan for a crisis and manage after the crisis has passed. Intentional Peer Support (IPS) helps members develop connections; understand how we’ve come to know what we know; redefine help as a co-learning and growth process and help each other move towards what we want. These tools, as well as others, enable members to become contributing citizens of our community.
Arts & Crafts Show at Rochester Public Library
The Tri-City Co-Op Arts & Crafts Show at Rochester Public Library is an opportunity for members to use arts and crafts as a means of recovery. We have many talented artists and crafters who would like to share their creations with the community. We hope you visit the Rochester Public Library during the month of October to see our showcase. Thirty percent of each sale will go to Tri-City Co-Op to purchase arts and crafts supplies.
The Rochester Public Library is located at 65 South Main Street. Call 332-1428 or visit www.rpl.lib.nh.us for more information.
